The Gymstars Preschool Program is designed for children ages 3–6 to build confidence, coordination, strength, and foundational gymnastics skills in a fun, positive, and encouraging environment. Through age-appropriate classes, children are introduced to gymnastics, tumbling, movement education, flexibility, and balance using preschool-sized equipment and structured skill progressions. With low student-to-teacher ratios and supportive instructors, every child receives personalized attention while developing physically, socially, and emotionally through movement and play.

Frequently asked questions
Gymstars 1 & 2 and Supergymstars begin with a themed group warm-up, typically followed by a group game. After warm-up, classes are divided by level. Students rotate through three to four stations each class, with stations changing every two weeks. At each station, gymnasts work on skills as part of a circuit of engaging events.
Every child, regardless of gymnastics experience, can attend a class at Planet Gymnastics and thrive in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Classes are age-based. Children should be enrolled in the class that corresponds to their age.
Please ensure all children are appropriately dressed for class. Baggy or inappropriate clothing presents a safety risk and may prevent participation. Children not dressed in accordance with dress code requirements will not be permitted to participate.
Approved Attire: Leotards or non-baggy t-shirts, shorts, sweatpants, exercise pants, or leggings. Bare feet are required in the gym at all times.
Prohibited Attire: Socks (bare feet required), jeans, corduroys, overalls, or any clothing with buckles, belt loops, or zippers. Footed tights are not permitted.
Jewelry is not permitted with the exception of stud earrings. Long hair must be secured in a ponytail. Complimentary hair ties are available at the front office.
Classes are age-based. As your child grows, they will transition to the appropriate next age-level class. If your child is ready for an instructor-recommended class, their instructor will request an evaluation.
