Mark your calendars. Gym Show 2012 will take place June 8th, 9th, and 10th.
WHAT IS GYM SHOW?
It’s the highlight of your gymnastics year! Every spring Planet Gymnastics students get a chance to perform their extraordinary gymnastics and fitness accomplishments for parents, relative, and friends! The Gym show includes all students Gym stars I and older.
AGENDA:
1. Warm up routines by level- Creative imagination combined with movement to prepare the body and mind.
2. Exhibitions
3. Performance on Equipment: Our gymnasts will perform skills and routines displaying their new and growing confidence, coordination and awareness in all the Olympic events!
4. Staff Routine: Our teaching staff will show off!
5. Award Ceremony!
WHAT I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MY GYM SHOW?
HOW LONG?
Our presentation will be approximately 45 minutes in length and will conclude with the special award ceremony. Each athlete will receive an award.
ATHLETE ENTRY FEE:
NONE! Unlike dance recitals and other Children’s award events, we will not charge for performing athletes. This event is our way of saying THANK YOU for choosing Planet Gymnastics!
AUDIENCE ENTRY FEE:
NONE! Just mass quantities of applause, cheering, smiles, and encouragement of all kinds!
ARRIVAL TIME:
Students are to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time. Children will be asked to check in before entering the event.
WHEN IS THE GYM SHOW?
Friday June 8th – Sunday June 10th.
See the schedule for your child’s specific time assignment. (Schedules will be available Mid May)
WHAT IF I CAN”T MAKE MY ASSIGNED TIME?
Sunday 2:45 is the MAKE UP SHOW.
We will provide an alternative show for those who can not come to their scheduled time. Please use this option for time conflicts only and NOT convenience reasons. Thanks! You will need to sign up in advance and sign up is on a first come first serve basis. Space is limited!
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
This year we ask the children to wear Black Shorts and a Planet Gymnastics T Shirt. (Leotards with T Shirt is okay). Any Planet Gymnastics shirt will do. New T shirts will be available for sale.
