Procedures and Policies
New students may join at any time during a session, as long as there is space in your desired class. If a class is full, your name will be placed on a wait list. Tuition will be prorated relative to your start date.
Tuition Payment and Due Date
Tuition is due on the first day of the session. If you choose to make installment payments, you are still responsible for the full session tuition. Installment payments must be made using our electronic fund transfer system and charged on the first of the month. Any changes to an electronic payment must be made in writing. If, at any time, a check is returned for non-sufficient funds, we charge an additional $40. If you wish to cancel your enrollment, you must do so 14 days in advance of the new session. After that you will be billed tuition per the payment agreement. All classes are a 20 week commitment and all teams are a 10 month commitment. If you enroll in a class after the start of the session your tuition is prorated based on your registration date.
Annual Registration Fee
This is a $35 fee due upon initial registration and annually thereafter. This fee defrays administrative and insurance enrollment costs and entitles you to member benefits. The renewal registration fee will be posted automatically on the first day of the session for which the student is enrolled.
We are happy to offer family and multiple class discounts. A 20% discount is applied to siblings, and a 10% discount is given off additional classes within a session. A twin sibling gets a 50% discount.
Session to Session Enrollment
Students enrolled in the Fall session have priority to reserve their space for the Spring session. Please let us know by the end of the Fall session if you do not wish to continue to the Spring session. Students enrolled in the Spring session have priority registration for our Summer session. Summer students have priority for Fall registration.
There will be no refunds or credits for missed classes, unless due to serious illness. For day programs, 100% refunds will be given when notified prior to 14 days in advance. When notified within 14 days of the event, a Planet credit will be given.
100% Money Back Guarantee
We believe we offer the finest children’s programming and facilities in the area. We also know that we can not always offer exactly what all children need at every stage of their development. That is why we offer the following guarantee: If at anytime during the first month of a 20 week session (4 consecutive weeks from dated enrolled) you are not completely satisfied with our program, we will refund your tuition. Note: Our money back guarantee is offered only to students BRAND NEW to Planet Gymnastics.
Moving to a New Class
We will gladly accommodate class change requests (assuming there is a vacancy in your desired class.) If your child is moving into a different class we STRONGLY suggest you come and watch the class BEFORE you’re scheduled to switch. This way both the parent and child know what to expect.
Absence and Make-ups
It is very important to try to attend your regularly scheduled class, which provides the best possible learning environment for your child. We realize, however, that it is sometimes impossible to attend your regularly scheduled class.
Planet Gymnastics is happy to offer unlimited make-ups. However, there are required procedures to follow to allow make-up opportunities.
1. Advanced notification of an absence is needed in order to be eligible for a make-up class.
2. Unlimited make-ups will be given anytime during the session for which the child is enrolled and must be completed during the missed session. No make-ups will be offered during the first 2 weeks of a session.
3. Make-up space is not guaranteed. It is offered on a space-availability basis. We do not guarantee a make-up with the same teacher, nor do we guarantee make-up class availability at the same time for siblings.
4. Make-up classes must be scheduled and confirmed prior to arrival at the gym.
5. Make-ups cannot be rescheduled. If you cannot make your scheduled make-up class, it will be forfeited. We DO NOT make up a make-up.
6. Absences cannot be refunded or credited towards future tuition.
Please make sure your child is properly dressed for class. Baggy and inappropriate clothing make an unsafe situation for both your child and our teachers. If a child is not dressed appropriately they will not be allowed to participate. A make-up for this class can be scheduled.

We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your class time. Every class begins with a warm-up period. This warm-up period is important and necessary for every student. It provides physical and mental preparation for a class, and when performed completely will help prevent injuries. Therefore, if your child arrives late (more than 10 minutes for Gymstars, 15 minutes for Gymgirls/Gymboys) she/he will NOT be allowed to join the class. A make-up for this class can be scheduled.
Before Class: Parents should accompany young children to the bathroom before class. Upon arrival, students should store their shoes and outdoor attire in any of the cubbies provided. Please don’t leave them on the bleachers or around the lobby. All parents must watch their children before class and their siblings during the lesson. Parents and siblings are not allowed in the party rooms or mini gym.
In Observation Area: Children are not to run or tumble in the lobby, and can not go into the gym without an instructor. Parents are required to supervise their children who are not enrolled in class at Planet Gymnastics at all times. Parents need to be available in the lobby for their child. If your child needs to leave the gym, (bathroom break, an emotional need etc.) it is your responsibility to meet them at the gym door and take over supervision. Reminder, Planet Gymnastics does not offer bathroom assistance.
After Class: At Planet Gymnastics, we believe a parent’s #1 responsibility is to be supportive of their child. Show your child that you believe he/she is a great person. Making their best effort is all that matters.
If you are routinely late picking up your child we suggest exploring an alternative class time to better match your schedule. We reserve the right to charge a fee for late pick ups that negatively affects our staff’s schedule. We do not guarantee direct supervision for your child when not picked up on time.
Other Reminders To Parents: Parents are not allowed in the gym or on equipment. If a parent has a special reason to go in the gym, it must be cleared by management and a waiver must be signed.
Planet Gymnastics is not responsible for lost, stolen, broken, or items left behind. There is a lost and found that you (child/parent) are responsible for checking frequently.
Per Natick Board of Health, no smoking is allowed on our property.
Please use extra care when driving through our parking lot. Watch for small children. Drive slow. Yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk.
There are no pets allowed in the facility.
Child injury and illness
Please inform us if your child has any physical or medical information we should know about. A safe and healthy environment is important for all children. Please do not bring your child to class if they have a fever, runny nose, cough etc. We are always happy to offer unlimited make-ups due to this request. This illness policy is designed to protect the health of your child, the other children, and the staff. please do not bring your child to lessons if he/she has had:
- Diarrhea, vomiting, or evidence of infections within two days
- A fever
- Undiagnosed sores or rash
In case of inclement weather, we follow the Natick Public Schools. If they are closed, we will be closed for all morning classes. We will reassess at noon. Please check our website, Facebook page, or call us at 508-647-1777 to check our message for the status of afternoon classes.
Holidays & School Vacations
We are closed on Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Memorial Day, and July 4th. We are open during most school vacations. Please see the session schedule for any regular class closings.
We are fortunate to have a tremendously qualified staff. Our coaches are specifically selected and trained to safely bring out the best in each child. Planet Gymnastics coaches are USA Gymnastics Safety certified and American Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certified. Furthermore, all participate in training and attend clinics and seminars to further their teaching abilities. Finally, all Planet Gymnastics staff has access to the staff library which contains a wealth of information on the latest training techniques and theories of child development.
We pride ourselves in our facility – its bright colors, inviting atmosphere, excellent equipment, and cleanliness. We have professional cleaning done every night.
No food or drink is allowed in gym. If you are enjoying food or drink in the vending area, please help us keep the facility clean! Be responsible for making sure all garbage is properly disposed of. In consideration of food allergies, please clean up any spills in the lobby or vending area. No gum is permitted in class or facility.
Practicing at home
Although we want to encourage exercising at home, we do NOT encourage tumbling at home. Ask your child what they are doing in class but never spot skills you are not trained to spot. Do practice safe stretching and safe strength building. We would be happy to share ideas and pointers for safe home exercising.
We encourage communication between parent and teacher. Get to know your child’s teacher. All instructors are available to communicate through e-mail. Please make sure we have your current e-mail address. We do not provide your e-mail address to any other company.
Planet Gymnastics is recognized by USA Gymnastics as a Member Club. As the national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in the US, we follow their recommendations for safety, curriculum, and staff certification.
Our annual end of the year performance and celebration for all students Gymstars 1 age and older happens in June. It is the kids’ chance to show off what they can do! Bring your family and friends. Classes will start practicing routines approximately two months before the show. As Gym Show time gets close, look for flyers with more information on performance days and times.
